Reports to: Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Shifts: Include days, evenings, weekends and some Holidays (event based)
Job Summary: Chef Cordelia Catering is looking for an experienced high-volume dishwasher that is both efficient and mindful of handling dishes and glassware with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
The position includes, but is not limited to:
Ensure a clean and safe facility according to Health Department Standards
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean, orderly condition
Light prep
Overall support to the Chef and facilities operations
Keeping storage rooms organized, safe and have awareness of all items
Suggest new procedures for productivity and efficiency
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to communicate fluently in English
Must have a high standard of excellence when it comes to cleaning
Meal included
Minimum 3 days per week including weekends
Professional language and communication skills required
Required skills: Serve-Safe Certified, strong time management, organization, professional demeanor, strong communication, positive under pressure, ability to follow established protocols and procedures, eager to assist.
