Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front Person / Cashier to be the face of our restaurant. You will be responsible for taking orders, handling transactions, and ensuring that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service
Take orders efficiently and accurately using our POS system
Process payments (cash, credit, mobile, etc.) and handle transactions with care
Answer customer questions about the menu and make recommendations
Ensure the front counter and dining area remain clean and organized
Assist with packaging to-go orders and checking for accuracy
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions
Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Food service experience is a plus but not mandatory
