Love food? Love people? McCall’s is on the hunt for a friendly, food-loving, & full-time customer-facing staff member to join the team at our growing gourmet market and butcher shop in Atwater Village!
Our beloved neighborhood market specializes in fine meats and seafood, but we also offer a wide variety of specialty products such as wine and beer, fresh pastas, imported cheeses, and locally-sourced produce from the farmers market.
Ideal candidate loves food, works well in a team, can multi-task efficiently, 2+ years kitchen/restaurant experience.
Ability to butcher is not a requirement, but a huge plus!
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and assist customers, creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
Provide detailed product knowledge and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
Assist with checkout, including handling payments and keeping track of customer orders.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house space.
Ensure product displays are stocked, well-organized, and reflective of our market’s high standards.
Light cutting and food prep.
Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Actively contribute to a collaborative and friendly work environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Weekend availability.
- Full-time (40 hours a week, 5 days a week) availability.
- Valid CA Food Handler’s Card.
