Hiring Line Cook – West LA
Sobuneh is a fast-growing breakfast and lunch concept in West Los Angeles, known for our quality, consistency, and care.
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us keep up with high-volume service while maintaining our standards of execution and teamwork.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Line Cook at Sobuneh, you’ll be responsible for preparing burritos and menu items according to our recipes, following the Kitchen Display Screen (KDS), and keeping communication open with your teammates.
You’ll work closely with the Cook Station and Expeditor to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency in every order.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow the KDS to prepare burritos accurately based on type, ingredients, and modifications
Make each burrito with care and consistency — quality matters most
Communicate clearly with the cook station and expeditor regarding orders and modifications
Help pack and hand off orders as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Support dishwashing, restocking, and cleaning tasks during and after service
Follow direction from kitchen leads and management
REQUIREMENTS
Reliability and punctuality are a must – showing up on time and ready to work is essential
Line cook experience preferred (breakfast or fast-paced service a plus)
Must be able to work efficiently under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must maintain focus, cleanliness, and consistency throughout service
Spanish speaking is a plus
