Astronaut City is a brand-new bar and live entertainment venue in Arcadia, CA, featuring nightly karaoke, comedy shows, music events, and more. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Host to join our crew and help create an unforgettable experience for our guests.
About the Role
As a Host at Astronaut City, you’ll greet guests, check IDs, clean the facility, host karaoke nights, and assist the bartender. A friendly personality and ability to work well in a team is a must.
Responsibilities
Greet and serve guests quickly and with a positive attitude
Check IDs
Operate Square POS to ring in sales and manage tabs
Set up audio equipment
Support the team with general venue upkeep (cleaning, restocking, etc.)
Requirements
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be 21+ with valid ID
RBS certification preferred
Availability for night and weekend shifts (we are open 7 PM–12 AM)
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
