Chaumont Bakery, located in the heart of Beverly Hills, is renowned for its authentic French pastries and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Full Time Front of House Team Member. This role encompasses various responsibilities including cashiering, barista duties, serving pastries, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the café.
Position Overview:
As a Front of House Team Member at Chaumont Bakery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a delightful experience. From welcoming guests and taking orders to crafting coffee beverages and serving pastries, your dedication to customer satisfaction and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our café.
Responsibilities:
Operate the Toast POS system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and maintain consistent quality.
Serve pastries and other menu items over the counter with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Clear and clean tables promptly to provide a clean dining environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and café area throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
Availability from 6:00am to 4:30pm daily; weekend availability is essential.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and experience with espresso machines preferred.
Passion for coffee and French cuisine, with a desire to share that passion with customers.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks calmly under pressure.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Pay: $17.30 per hour plus tips (average of $10-$12 per hour in tips)
