Star Bar is looking for an outgoing, reliable, and energetic Karaoke & Trivia Host to lead weekly entertainment nights. This person will be the voice and personality of our bar on event nights — keeping the music flowing, the crowd engaged, and the atmosphere fun and welcoming.
We want someone who loves working with people, feels confident on the mic, and can create an unforgettable night for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Host and emcee weekly karaoke and trivia nights with a positive, upbeat presence
Organize and manage karaoke sign-ups and keep the event running smoothly
Operate music equipment, playlists, microphones, and trivia software
Encourage crowd participation, cheer on new singers, and build a fun environment
Read the room and adjust pacing, music, and engagement accordingly
Announce specials, promote upcoming events, and support bar staff as needed
Maintain a friendly, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all guests
Arrive on time, set up equipment, test sound, and break down at end of night
Compensation and Schedule:
1-2 nights per week
Extra nights during events and holidays
