We are looking for a kitchen Manager able to work full time, evenings and weekend. Starting day January 15th 2025.
Position Overview:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of kitchen workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, ordering, and maintaining inventory, as well as a genuine passion for the culinary arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations during service.
Food Quality & Consistency: Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and taste, ensuring consistency in every dish.
Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in kitchen leadership roles (e.g., Sous Chef, Line Cook,Kitchen Supervisor), with at least 1-2 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
Certifications: Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
