LA'telier: a premiere full-service catering & events company is seeking freelance FOH Staff for luxury corporate and social events for their forthcoming fall/winter events. Restaurant, Event Hospitality and/or Event Production experience is preferred.
Key duties include
arranging tables and dining areas, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing their needs. The job requires physical stamina, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include
Event setup: Prepare event spaces by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and food service stations according to the banquet schedule.
Guest service: Greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and be attentive to their needs throughout the event.
Food and beverage service: Distribute food and beverages, answer questions about menu items, and ensure that all items meet quality standards.

Problem resolution: Handle guest complaints and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
Event breakdown: Clear tables, collect trash and tableware, and assist with the breakdown and cleaning of the event space after it concludes.
Skills and qualifications
Customer service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide a positive experience for guests.
Physical stamina: The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry heavy trays, and unload up to 45 lbs.
Teamwork: Must be able to collaborate effectively with other servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators.
Attention to detail: A focus on cleanliness, food presentation, and accuracy in serving guests.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on-call hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as catering events are not on a fixed schedule.
