Lil’ East Coffee is hiring! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Barista to help us shape our team. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily operations during your shift
Learn and follow all steps and procedures for day-to-day operations
Ensure efficient and smooth workflow throughout the shift
Monitor and maintain quality standards for coffee preparation, customer service, and cleanliness
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Coordinate with other departments to support seamless operations
Observe and report on inventory management and order supplies as needed
Qualifications
For Shift Lead: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty coffee
Must be able to dial in espresso
Ability to describe 2–3 distinct flavor notes for each coffee served
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong leadership skills, including motivating and guiding a team, delegating tasks, and providing feedback
Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong organizational abilities
Flexible schedule availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Genuine passion for specialty coffee and customer service
Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and contribute positively to the success of our café
