Job Summary:
Angel's Share is seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team in an upscale bar and restaurant setting. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment, such as knives and grills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in catering or large-scale food service is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
