Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 8AM–2PM (or 7AM–1PM if preferred)
Pay: $20–$24/hr, based on experience
Le Coupé is a chef-driven, scratch Southern kitchen located in Los Angeles — known for our fried chicken.We’re looking for a dedicated morning prep cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Bread all chicken for daily service
Butcher and portion cases of chicken
Marinate chicken according to house recipe
Prepare sauces completely from scratch (must follow recipes exactly)
Cut and prep slaw, peel and cut corn, and assist with other prep
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow all Department of Health and safety standards
Qualifications
Strong knife skills required — this is not an entry-level position
Prior experience in a chef-driven scratch kitchen
Available Wednesday–Sunday mornings (weekend availability required)
Must speak and understand some basic English
Able to follow detailed instructions and recipes with precision
Works well as part of a small, tight-knit team
Reliable, communicative, and consistent
