FOH Staff Needed in Modern Sports Bar/Gastropub. We are brand spanking new!
Compensation: $16.50 + tips. Payroll done weekly.
Responsibilities:
-Attend to customers upon entrance
-Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
-Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
-Take customer orders into POS (Square)
-Issue bills and accept payment
-Perform opening/closing duties
-Clean and reset seating area. Need special attention to sanitation and order.
-Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
-Knowledge of drink-making to craft delicious cocktails
-Able to learn the menu and upsell items
-Collaborate with other FOH staff to ensure smooth operations + welcoming atmosphere
-Ability to see when bartender/servers need help and step in when needed.
-Bartenders will be serving beer, making cocktail and other NA drink. Boba to be added shortly after opening as well.
Skills
Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
Hands-on experience in cashier duties
Attention to cleanliness and safety
Patience and customer-oriented approach
Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
Responsible and trustworthy
Communicate in a respectful manner with back-of-the-house employees and customers
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Qualifications:
-Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
-Must have ServSafe Certificate
-Must have high energy/be organized
-Must be very outgoing, friendly, and have a positive attitude
-Must be 21 years of age
-Must have knowledge of state liquor laws
