A busy, well-established restaurant in Sherman Oaks is looking for a Host/Hostess/Customer Satisfaction Expert to join our front-of-house team.
This role goes beyond greeting and seating guests, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people. The right candidate will feel comfortable chatting with guests, walking the floor during service, and performing table touches to ensure every guest has an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and seating guests in a warm, professional manner
Managing pacing, wait times, and guest flow
Walking the floor and engaging with guests throughout service
Communicating effectively with servers, managers, and the kitchen
Maintaining a calm, organized demeanor under pressure
Qualifications:
2+ years of customer service experience preferred
Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation software preferred (training provided)
Strong personal and communication skills
A natural passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
