A little bit about us:
Enoteca Del Re is a small 900sqft wine bar that will be opening soon in Chinatown. We are right off the Chinatown train stop. Enoteca Del Re will focus mainly on Italian Wine Menu and small bites. We want people to feel like they stepped out of Los Angeles and into Italy!
The Position is Service Team Members
Service Team Members will be a part of a team which means everyone is a bartender, food runner, busser and kitchen prep. Service Team members will be expected to take orders, prepare drinks, run food, bus tables, prep food orders and hand wash glassware etc.
Responsibilities:
-Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and professionalism
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate service
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment. This includes bussing tables and wiping them clean. Taking out the garbage and recycling and also sweeping and mopping the floors.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service
-hand wash glassware and dishware
-run food and beverages to appropriate tables
-prep food orders when applicable
Requirements:
-Be 21 and over due to laws serving wine and beer
-Have a flexible schedule and able to work evenings and weekends
-Team player with positive attitude
-Honest and reliable
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Basic wine knowledge
- 3+ years’ experience working as a server or bartender preferred
- Team members must be willing to participate in a pooled house.
