PAY/HOURS
$24 - $26/hr
3-4 shifts/week
12am - 8am (can be 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am if needed)

Maciel’s is Los Angeles’s first plant-based butcher and deli, offering in-house made meats, cheeses, sandwiches, salads, sides, desserts and aguas frescas. We are looking for an Overnight Prep Cook with strong experience in a high-volume environment. Must be able to work fast in an organized and efficient manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Preparing plant-based meats, cheeses, and dressings by following recipes and prepping the items accurately.
- Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
- Clean, organize, and maintain refrigerators, cooler drawers, ovens, prep and dry storage areas, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in a bakery is a plus
- Food Safety Knowledge
- Food Preparation Experience
- Versatile Kitchen Skills
- Basic Knife Skills
- Multitasking
- Organized
