Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders to tables promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and offer specials
- Handle payments and operate POS systems with proficiency
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food handling and serving is preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems for order processing
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Familiarity with Clover POS or similar restaurant software is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for order accuracy and bill calculation
- Understanding of food safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff for smooth operations
