We're growing (again!)
Soup du Jar is an up and coming boutique food company that offers farm to table soups, sauces, bone broth, and dressings. We distribute almost exclusively via farmer's markets and online delivery. We believe in healthy, fresh ingredients (our products are vegan, vegetarian and/or with organic meats). We're also committed to sustainabilitywe financially incent our customers to return the glass jars of which our products are packaged.
We started in the Conejo Valley and are presently in the Brentwood, Calabasas, Hollywood, Marina del Rey, Melrose, Playa Vista and Westlake Farmer's Markets. We're expanding into additional South Bay and LA markets (specifically in the Torrance and West LA area), and are looking for kind and outgoing folks with big smiles and warm personalities to represent us at our booth. If you're a "foodie", all the better!
Each market occurs one day a week, usually on a Saturday or Sunday. A typical market will require you to be there from 7am to 2pm or 7:30am to 2:30pm (depending on the market hours). Generally, we'll bring everything to the location and you'll set it up and run the booth. At the end of the event you'll take down and we'll pick everything up. We have opportunities for one or both days each weekend, most are in/around the Los Angeles area.
The patrons at farmer's markets are awesome, authentic and interesting. We've built great relationships with some of our customers, so be awarethere's an emotional connection that builds when you work these markets. It's really a lot of fun!
