Experience in commercial/retail bread baking is necessary.
Requires weekend work.
You will be responsible for mixing, shaping and baking breads.
You will be trained to make the breads and fillings to our standards, but you must have some prior professional experience.
All mixing, benching, proofing, baking, done by hand. NO AUTOMATIONS
Hours 3am-11am/1130am Wednesday thru Sunday
Requirements include:
Knowledge of doughs, mixers and ovens
Experience in shaping dough by hand
Laminating doughs by hand
Rolling doughs and pastries by hand
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Ability to read and follow recipes exactly as well as customer orders
Cleanliness
Promptness and dependability
Valid CA food handler’s card
Able to work long hours standing up.
Schedule will include all weekends and all holidays
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
