Seeking experienced, friendly, active, motivated bilingual (English/Spanish) front of house team member for our small growing fast-casual pasta restaurant in Los Angeles that borders Inglewood and Westchester. Position is full-time, Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.
Position involves greeting customers, taking orders and transactions (cash, card, gift card on POS system), Preparing and serving simple front of house menu items (garlic bread, salad), verifying orders are correct, bagging items for takeout orders, bringing food to dine-in customers, maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant and most importantly being a positive, reliable, dependable team-player with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and the rest of the team.
The ideal person for this position has a level of maturity that understands the importance of being respectful to others, always acting in a professional manner that represents the restaurant, owners and staff, is able to maintain composure during peak hours and/or stressful times, is on time, reliable, dependable, likes to take initiative, think ahead during slower restaurant times to make sure we are prepared for peak times, and is open to feedback and coaching from the owners and team in order to maintain your position and grow.
FOH experience is a must! Pay is between $19-$21 an hour PLUS $2-$3 more an hour in tips paid in cash. Paychecks or direct deposit for hourly rate is weekly.
