Our culinary department is seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role requires a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the Executive Chef in the planning and directing of food preparation and culinary activities.
-Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
-Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
-Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
-Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen budgets.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
-Manage kitchen staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
-Handle any kitchen-related issues promptly and effectively.
-Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation, adhering to the restaurant's standards.
-Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to ensure cleanliness and organization.
