POSITION DETAILS
Role: Bread Baker / Panadero(a)
Location: West Adams District - LA Commissary
Compensation: $21.00/hour (DOE)
Shifts: 5:30 AM (start time)
Type: Full-time (40 hours/week, weekends required – Fri, Sat, Sun)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
Work and act consistently with Tartine's mission.
Display knowledge of bread-making, including components and fermentation.
Work effectively in a team-driven environment.
Mix, ferment, scale, shape, and bake dough.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with coworkers.
Keep workstations clean and organized.
Assist other departments as needed.
Supplemental:
Perform occasional additional duties to support production areas.
Understand the restaurant as a whole and contribute to its success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18+ years old.
Minimum 1 year of professional bread baking experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent basic math skills.
Valid Food Handler's Certificate.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds.
Uphold Tartine’s ethical and professional standards.
