Bikes and Hikes LA, Los Angeles’ premier biking, hiking, and eco-tourism company, is looking for energetic, reliable, and outgoing team members for a dual role that combines leading guided outdoor tours and assisting with setup for outdoor events and luxury picnics.
This position is for candidates who are equally enthusiastic about both aspects — sometimes you’ll lead or support tours, other times you’ll be part of our event setup crew. If you’re only interested in one of those, this role isn’t the right fit.

What You’ll Do:
Lead or assist with guided biking and hiking tours throughout Los Angeles
Set up and break down events, picnics, and tour equipment
Move décor, gear, and supplies to and from vehicles and storage areas
Help organize and maintain event and tour gear
Provide exceptional guest service and represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Ideal Candidates:
Fun, outgoing, and engaging personalities
Enjoy both public-facing and behind-the-scenes work
Comfortable switching between tour guide and event crew roles
Excellent communication and people skills
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Flexible schedule — must be available weekends (our busiest days)
Prior experience in tourism, hospitality, events, or education is a plus
If you have an eye for design or visual presentation, let us know — that’s a big plus for our event work
Fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, etc.) is a bonus
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Dependable transportation to various LA locations
Basic familiarity with biking and hiking safety (training provided)
