We are looking to hire a compassionate, reliable and experienced Direct Support Professional /Caregiver to provide Adults with disabilities direct supervision, personal care assistance and skills training to adults with intellectual disabilities. Candidates must have
Employment requirement:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years or older
Demonstrate ability to read and write English
Have references and demonstrate past experience in caring for people with disabilities
Complete a physical exam with a tuberculosis clearance and health questionnaire
Submitting to live scan fingerprints of the Department of Justice and FBI prior to hire
DSP1 and DSP 2 certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities include but not limited to
Assist with self-care, bathing and grooming, meal preparation, recreational activities, transportation, medication dispensing, and logging.
Perform housekeeping duties and assist with the maintenance of building and grounds.
Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors exhibited by the clients we serve, using training techniques and support from professional staff.
Collect data and maintain individual records in accordance with individualized goals.
Maintain standards of individual safety and confidentiality.
Availability:
Open availability preferred
-Weekend morning, afternoon and evening shifts
$16 to $18 per hour depending on experience.
