JOB/POSITION:
Currently, we have a 4 day shift (Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon) available for a female caregiver (Our residents prefer female-caregivers): (38 hours total) 7:30AM - 6PM (9.5hrs/shift).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are a 6 Residents RCFE, aka Board & Care. You will be working with other caregivers (never alone) in building meaningful relationships with our seniors and their families while helping the residents in all day to day living needs such as showers, diaper changing, transferring, feeding, cooking and cleaning after them. This is a very stable job, as your days and hours are guaranteed to not be reduced. Our residents are carefully screened. We don't allow residents who scream, hit or have any behavioral issues that would disrupt the sanctuary of our home.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6 months verifiable experience working with Alzheimer's Patients in an Assisted Living setting or Board & Care, (1-on-1 care will be considered as well on an individual basis)
- Speak fluent English
- That you live within 30 minutes of Pasadena, as we value your work-life balance.
- Must be a good team player. If you prefer working alone, please don't apply. We enjoy working as a team.
- Must have a 100% clear Criminal Background, as background checks are mandatory.
- Must truly care for the elderly residents
- Be able to do a two-person transfers for up to 150lbs with no Hoyer lift. We accept residents up to 150 lbs.
- Be comfortable with Hospice residents.
NOT Required:
-Driver's license or your own vehicle. (You'll never be asked to drive anyone)
-High school diploma.
-CNA certificates.
- You don't have to be Covid-19 vaccinated
PAY:
We pay $20/hour (We don't pay cash).
Overtime-pay for anything over 40 hours/week.
Paid time off after 90 days,
5 days of PAID VACATION after 1 year.
10 days of PAID VACATION after 2 years (Based on working 4 days/week).
3 uniforms per year after the 1st year, and other benefits not mentioned here.
