Live-In Caregiver Needed for Elderly Woman – Full-Time Position
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable live-in caregiver for an elderly woman who is frail but semi-independent. The ideal candidate is someone who is mature, caring, dependable, and enjoys providing good company. A sense of humor and a warm personality are a plus!
### Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time live-in position
- Daily hours: 8–9 AM to Noon, 1 PM, then 4–5 PM to 8–9 PM
- Start Date: Next week or the first week of March
- Trial Period & Long-Term Opportunity:
- This position will begin with a one-month trial period to assess mutual fit. After this time, we will evaluate and determine long-term continuation.
### Responsibilities Include:
- Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care
- Companionship & Supervision: Providing friendly conversation and engagement throughout the day
- Memory Care: Support for cognitive needs as required
- Lifting, Transfer, and Standby Assist: Helping with mobility, transfers, and movement as needed
- Driving to Doctor’s Appointments and other necessary outings
- Light Housekeeping: Keeping the client’s living space clean and organized
- Meal Preparation: Cooking simple, nutritious meals
- Medication Reminders: Ensuring medications are taken on time
- Walking & Light Exercise Assistance to encourage mobility
### Compensation:
- Salary will depend on total hours worked, experience, and whether the candidate is live-in or full-time.
- Past caregivers have received $18–$22 per hour or $650–$850 per week.

- Someone with prior caregiving experience, especially with elderly clients

- Someone dependable and trustworthy
- Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication
- A good conversationalist who can provide pleasant companionship
- A valid driver’s license and ability to assist with transportation
