JKC Neurology is in search of a new certified medical assistant who will provide and facilitate care for patients, while maintaining professionalism and embodying a confident, can-do attitude. This role will require both clerical and clinical support for the clinic.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares exam/treatment rooms
- Basic triage of each patient, doing vitals, Phlebotomy
- Prepare charts, verify insurance, help with patient referrals as needed.
- Assisting Providers with procedures and exams
- Performing POC (Point of Care) testing and EKGs
- Maintaining the sterilization of tools and following guidelines to maintain health compliance
- Helping physicians with e-prescriptions and PAs.
- Stocking/Ordering supplies as needed
