Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, experienced, and highly motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver top-notch patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including cosmetic and general dentistry.
Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
Take and develop dental X-rays.
Ensure patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized operatory and sterilize instruments following OSHA guidelines.
Record patient information and treatment notes in our dental software (experience with Dentrix is a plus).
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of dental assisting experience (cosmetic dentistry experience is a plus).
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
Proficiency in taking digital X-rays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
