Registered Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dentistry (Full-Time)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $25-28 per hour (depends on experience)
We are a warm, child-focused dental practice looking for a trustworthy and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, has experience with pediatric patients, and is eager to learn and grow. This position requires flexibility in performing both front and back office duties.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Duties:
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
Verify dental insurance and calculate patient benefits
Process payments and manage patient accounts
Back Office Duties:
Sterilize instruments and maintain proper setup
Take radiographs, assist with cleanings, and scribe during exams
Maintain inventory, track expiration dates, and order supplies
Light cleaning (e.g., wiping surfaces, vacuuming, tidying play area)
Outreach (Occasional):
Visit local schools or offices to promote oral health education
Requirements
Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and communication skills
Must be dependable, honest, and eager to learn
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A CURRENT DENTAL LICENSE
