Job Summary:
As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating treatment plans, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. You will serve as the liaison between patients and the clinical team, ensuring that all treatment options are clearly explained and coordinated effectively.
Responsibilities: include getting to know patients and helping them become healthy by coordinating their treatment plans and benefits.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of dental terminology to assist patients in understanding treatment plans.
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling and patient check-ins.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate patient treatments efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.
- Familiarity with medical office software such as Dentrix and Epic for efficient record-keeping.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience throughout their visit.
Experience in dental settings. Understanding financials, treatment planning and coordinating benefits is a requirement for the position.
- Previous experience in a dental setting receptionist role is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus.
