with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives in their own homes and

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are
not only compassionate but also highly dependable and capable of supporting clients with
complex needs. This role requires a balance of hands-on care, advocacy, and
mentoring—helping individuals achieve greater independence while ensuring their safety
and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a positive role model, encouraging healthy habits and independence.
Provide assistance with meal preparation, household management, and daily routines.
Support clients with personal care and hygiene respectfully and professionally.
Ensure safety and health monitoring, including medication reminders and coordination with medical professionals.
Facilitate community integration and advocacy for client rights and goals.
Maintain professional documentation as required by agency and Regional Center standards.
Drive a company vehicle to support client appointments and activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: At least 1–2 years of professional caregiving, SLS, ILS, or DSP experience preferred.
Education/Training: Current CPR & First Aid certification or willing to obtain before start.
Licensing: Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements: Able to walk for at least 30 minutes and assist with light household tasks.
Must successfully complete health screening, drug screening, and background clearance.
