Director of Operations – Imaging Clinic

Full time – Direct hire
Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm
$150k to $200k depending on experience.
Seeking an experienced Director of Operations for a busy Imaging clinic. Seeking an individual with a proven record of management performance within healthcare (preferably in Imaging), great influencing and project management skills, and having a broad understanding of the many service aspects that they will encounter and resolve within the day-to-day operation. In this position you will report to both the VP and Director of Imaging.
Responsibilities:
Create an Operational strategic and tactical plan.
Leads and manages a functional team of Radiation Therapists, Imaging Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators.
Cultivate and sustain a customer-centric operating culture that strives to exceed customer goals, objectives, requirements, and expectations
Promote a culture that always maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Creates an empowering work climate; inspires collaborative teamwork and problem solving.
Effectively communicates values and expectations regarding quality.
Proactive in identifying, appropriately defining, diagnosing and resolving all operational issues.
Anticipates and is flexible and adjusts plans to meet changing conditions.
Develop ways to measure progress, evaluate results and take corrective action in a timely manner.
Serves as a catalyst for effective change in the Imaging department.
Meet financial performance and goals of the Imaging portfolio.
Customer compassion and speaking skills in tough situations.
Work with the executive team to distill company strategy into impactful, departmental OKRs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with partners to align performance-based objectives and develop plans.
Must be onsite daily.
Qualifications:
8 years’ progressive experience directing or managing Healthcare Operations function.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Biological, Lifesciences, or Engineering or equivalent.
Proven understanding of a Radiologist’s workflow and ability to create operational efficiencies.
An experienced leader who has managed service operations in a medical imaging environment.
Expert knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation highly preferred.
An experienced leader, who is mission-focused, growth oriented, committed to operational excellence, process-minded, and skilled in leading teams in a performance-driven culture.
A decisive individual who sets and meets schedules, and enforces accountability across organizational boundaries.
Ability to measure and track performance, success of programs, initiatives.
Experience managing teams.
