I’m looking for a part-time Female Caregiver for my fun loving wife that is available to work from 4:00 pm afternoons to 9:00 pm evenings 2 to 3 times per week and possibly all night as well as some Saturdays and Sundays.
My wife is 60 and had a massive stroke almost 6 years ago
She's in a wheelchair now and is able to talk and feed herself ,but needs help bathing, dressing , healthy cooking and meal preparation.
She needs help and companionship from a compassionate person that is full of life and has a big heart and lots of patience,and understanding, good sense of humor, a big variety of interest, that enjoys food, movies and music
(R & B, soul, pop) .
The person applying for the position most have previous caregiving experience ,preferably with post stroke recovery or similar injuries., must be able to use a electric Hoyer lift for transfers from bed to wheelchair.
The candidate must also have interest in assisting and encouraging my wife with exercises and activities.
Must be reliable, honest and dependable and must have a clean background.
I can be flexible with the hours.
Compensation is $18 per hr or based on experience.
