Independent Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company is looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented Front Office Receptionist to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers, and is key to keeping our office running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting patients/visitors.
Answering and directing all phone calls.
Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Processing referrals, authorizations, and insurance verification.
Support intake: gather referral information, patient demographics, physician details, prescriptions, authorizations, and other required documentation.
Assisting with walk-in patients and intake paperwork.
Handling mail, faxes, and clerical support tasks.
Schedule equipment deliveries and pickups, and process dispatch orders.
Maintaining a clean and professional reception area.
Qualifications:
Bilingual (preferred).
Knowledge of Brightree software (preferred).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
