High profile Plastic Surgery Practice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position.

The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience in a Plastic Surgery or Cosmetic Dermatology practice.
Must have a pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, excellent phone and computer skills, be honest, punctual, reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented and responsible. Must be able to multi-task and exceed patients' expectations.
- Back office responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient care, such as rooming patients, giving pre- and post-operative instructions, suture, staple, drain and nasal splint removal, assisting with minor procedures, post- surgical patient follow-up calls & emails, pre- and post-op photos, keeping inventory and ordering of medical supplies, prepping surgery charts, labs, insurance verification, etc.
- Front office responsibilities include answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, educating and counseling patients about plastic surgery procedures and products, chart preparation, data entry, some filing, and special projects in support of the physician and office manager.
Flexibility and adaptability are essential as all staff members are cross-trained in each other's functions and called upon to support one another as needed.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

1. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in Plastic Surgery or Cosmetic Dermatology and be knowledgeable about services/procedures offered.
2. Be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and extremely computer savvy.
3. Be exceptionally organized, neat, detail oriented, and efficient.
4. Be a team-player that interacts well with others.
