Job Description: As a Home Care Aid, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure their well-being. Your role is crucial in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in their homes.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote the client's well-being.
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of services provided.
Requirements:
Registered HCA (Home Care Aid).
Current driver’s license.
Proper Vehicle Insurance Coverage.
Have own personal vehicle (preferred).
Must be able to pass CDSS fingerprint clearance.
Acknowledge requirements to report suspected/known abuse (SOC 341 A).
Must have a recent TB Clearance.
Must complete 8 hours of entry-level and annual training (The 8 hours entry-level training must be completed prior to providing home care services to clients).
Must be registered on the Home Care Aid Registry.
A recent physical and TB/chest X-ray.
