Hello/Barev! I am looking for a caring individual to assist my wonderful Mother as her IHSS Provider in Glendale, CA just a few streets away from Glendale High School. I have been her Provider for the past 8 years, however I can no longer continue due to a move and other reasons. If you are reading this ad, then the position is still available.
About The Recipient
My Mother is 74 with limited mobility (she uses a walker). Lives in Glendale, CA near Glendale High School. She enjoys morning and afternoon activities; enjoys Netflix, playing piano, painting/coloring as well as puzzles. She needs encouragement for physical activities like walking. I would like someone to socialize with her as well, as my Father passed away 3 years ago, and she has early stages of Alzheimer's, but she has a warm vibrant personality.
About Provider Position
This position is flexible, ranging from part-time to potentially full-time (3-5 days per week). My Mom is flexible with scheduling and hours. This is not a live-in position.
Armenian and/or Farsi Speaking Required.
Owns a reliable vehicle, as transportation and accompaniment to medical appointments maybe included. Covered parking is provided.
Capable of light housework, cooking, and ensuring proper medication intake and helping my Mother write down any logs.
Encourage social engagement and activities such as puzzles, painting, and reading.
