DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pacific Oaks Medical Group is looking to add an experienced Lab Technician to their Team of dedicated and hard working healthcare providers.
Lab technician that conducts specimen testing in a laboratory to analyze results and support physician office laboratory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, label, and store samples
Patient data entry
Set up and calibrate equipment.
Perform tests and experiments
Analyze data and report results
Maintain equipment by troubleshooting, cleaning, and testing sterility
Communicate with medical professionals
Experiment with new chemicals
Skills and traits
Analytical skills:
The ability to identify problems, investigate, and find logical solutions.
Attention to detail:
The ability to focus on all areas of a project or task
Scientific methods:
A strong foundation in scientific methods
Keen eye for detail:
The ability to notice small details
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Lab technicians work in medical laboratories or other facilities.
They may work in science instructional laboratories and stockrooms.
A lead lab technician is an experienced lab tech who performs complex duties with minimal supervision.
HOURLY PAY:
$18-$25 an hour (24-30) hrs. a week
