We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Filipino Male Care Provider to provide full-time, live-in care for an elderly male patient who is bedbound and requires attentive and comprehensive care. The caregiver will reside in the home, with a private room provided, ensuring the patient is safe, comfortable, and well-cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Safety and Supervision:
Ensure the patient’s safety at all times, monitoring for any signs of discomfort or distress.Prevent falls, injuries, or accidents.
Daily Care:
Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.Provide toileting and incontinence care.Change bedding and maintain cleanliness in the patient’s room.
Medical Support:
Administer prescribed medications on time.Assist with basic medical equipment (e.g., bedpan, mobility aids).Monitor vital signs and report changes to the family or healthcare providers.
Nutrition and Meal Preparation:
Prepare and assist the patient with meals that meet dietary requirements.Monitor hydration and ensure proper nutrition.
Emotional Support:
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the patient’s well-being.Engage in light conversation and activities the patient enjoys.
Household Support:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the patient’s living space. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the patient’s care.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in caregiving, particularly for bedbound or elderly patients.
-Male, MUST BE Filipino, with a nurturing and patient demeanor.
-Knowledge of patient safety and basic medical care practices.
-Physically capable of assisting with patient mobility or transfers.
-Excellent communication skills in English.
Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
