PLEASE READ WHOLE THE POST
Looking for a female caregiver who has a sweet and positive attitude. Doesn’t mind going with the client to her catholic church services as needed. Weekend availability is a must as this is a Thursday-Monday 10am-6pm post with the possibility of more hours being added down the line. Looking for someone who can adapt to any situation as the client likes to do a lot of volunteer work that requires at times a conservative demeanor. Must be able to cook as the client sometimes likes home cooked dinner meals.
Duties include but not limited to:
Driving for shopping and errands using your car
Empty and clean bedside commode upon arrival
Monitor ambulation with walker: client has fainted several times without warning
Transfer assist, if needed
Bathing assistance: help client in/out of shower; also assist with bathing and drying off
Assist with dressing, as needed
Meal preparation: includes cooking simple dinners for client, as desired
Kitchen cleanup after cooking
Light housekeeping, such as make the bed and take out the trash daily, check food expiration dates
Laundry: wash and fold laundry and put away
Light ironing, if possible
Change bed linens as needed
Assist with PT exercises
Companionship and conversation
Requirements:
Have your own car and insurance under your name NO EXCEPTIONS!
Valid driver license
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DOJ AND FBI BACKGROUND
HCA preferred
Pay is $17-$19
