Salary 75K - $100K depending on experience.
We are currently in search of a Lead RN or LVN to join our organization.
Skills Needed:
2 years as a supervisor, manager or Lead in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care setting preferred.
A registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse licensed to practice as required by state regulations.
Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions.
Experience in managing people in the healthcare field preferred.
Experience with employee scheduling preferred.
Must have a hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care.
Should have previous experience in a geriatric setting such as Assisted Living, Memory Care or Long-Term Care
Experience at a department head level in Assisted Living or a related industry
CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid
Experience coordinating educational events.
Able to work flexible work hours due to demands of position.
Position requires driving responsibilities, therefore you. must possess a valid driver’s license.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to beginning employment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise, develop, and schedule the resident services staff according to Nazareth House policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain a medication system which adheres to state, federal and company laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and establish appropriate service plans.
Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ascertain if the department is meeting state regulations and atria policies.
Act as a contact for issues related to resident care within the community.
Ensure adherence to company policy and State Health and Safety Codes, and federal regulations for assisted living communities.
Schedule and supervise staff; available to cover staffing when needed.
Administer medications as allowed per state specific guidelines when required.
Provide training and orientation to new assisted living Care staff employees and ongoing training to current Care staff employees.
Communicate to residents, families, department heads, resident services staff, and Executive Director in an effective and respectful manner as needed.
Maintain positive relations with residents’ families and physicians.
Education Requirements:
Current and valid state certification as a licensed RN or LVN in the state of California.
