LVNs or CNAs needed to care for an 24-year-old young man with Cerebral Palsy, spastic quadriplegia, and seizure disorder, requiring FULL CARE. New Grad LVNs will be considered. All will be fully trained. Wednesday and Thursday nights 7 pm -7 am with the possibility of more shifts as they become available as well as covering for illness and vacations. Full care duties include G-tube feeds via feeding pump, diapering, oral care, suctioning, range of motion, dispensing meds via G-tube, possible breathing treatments and postural drainage with percussion when needed. You will be background checked. The Patient is 63 lbs. Ceiling lifts are in the home. No sleeping during night shifts. There is zero tolerance for sleeping during work shift. Please be compassionate and caring, energetic with a good positive professional attitude, mature, punctual, reliable, responsible, Non-Smoking/no smoking during shifts, and have reliable transportation. Pay for LVNs is to be negotiated with our nursing agency. Pay for CNAs is $24.50 plus overtime with an increase in pay in January. LVNs will need to work for our agency. We have a nice home with a nice harmonious working environment. Surveillance cameras as well as cats in the house. (The cats are nice too!)
