Med-Legal chiropractic/physical therapy clinic looking for a part time (2 days a week to start) massage therapist to help with patient treatments. Our clinic treats primarily personal injury patients involved in motor vehicle or slip and fall accidents.
Massage therapist will work with both chiropractor and physical therapist (PT) in assisting with injured patient in need of soft tissue work. Patients will be in acute and chronic stages of injury. So knowledge of how to treat both will be vital. Many patients will also be post surgical, including spine and extremities.
On down time therapist will work closely with our chiropractor and PT with patient treatments, following doctors orders, patient communication, providing physio-therapy and visit documentation, helping patients with therapeutic exercise and other treatments as prescribed by doctor and PT. Primary focus will be massaging injured body parts as prescribed by doctor/PT.
