JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Post charges accurately
Manage denied charges by reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
Follow up on unpaid charges with health plans
Post payments from Payors to patients' accounts
Navigating the internet and researching Medicare, Medi-Cal, and healthcare organizations' websites
Utilizing software tools such as Word, Excel, etc.
Managing phone calls and communicating with external entities
Bonus points for experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pain Management, Family Medicine, GI, Asthma & Allergy, and Ophthalmology
Additional advantages for familiarity with eClinicalWorks, DrChrono, and Prime Clinical

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two (2) years of proficient experience in comprehensive medical billing
In-depth understanding of the California healthcare system
Efficient typing skills with accuracy
Fluent in English
Knowledge of Spanish and Farsi is a bonus
