Established diagnostic radiology facility has a career opportunity for a self-starting and mature individual to play an important role in our growing outpatient medical practice. Candidate must be prepared to actively cross-train through the entire administrative office.
FULL-TIME - 2ND SHIFT (10:30AM - 7:00PM)
APPLICANT MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- Formal certification in healthcare field, college degree, or 5 + years of work experience in a medical office .
- Able to demonstrate active multi-tasking skills in a busy work environment
- Comfortable using Windows-based computer programs, and interfacing with digital e-partners.
- Create a positive experience for every patient, partnering in the centers core patient care values.
- Greet and check-in patients scheduled for imaging services; register demographic information, and process patient payments.
- Answer and manage phone calls in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner.
- Schedule patient examinations in a timely manner using company protocols.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations.
- Support medical staff to ensure maximum throughput and patient satisfaction.
- Interface with on-site medical staff to meet report deadlines.
- Solid communicator and good team player with strong time management skills.
- Working knowledge of medical insurances, basic medical terminology and anatomy.
- Maintain pleasant and welcoming patient reception area.
- Highly motivated, self-assured, and friendly.
