Private family seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide direct care and support to an individual with developmental disabilities in home or community settings a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Assist individual with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores- Implement behavior management techniques to support individual in achieving their goals - Provide individual care and emotional support to individual with diverse needs - Support individuals in developing life skills and participating in community activities
Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred - Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and care systems - Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds - Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Background check required-Family will hire you through a third party company that serves North Los Angeles County Regional Center
$22/hour + based on experience
