Personal Business Manager Wanted – Sesom Housing Independent Living Homes

Overview Sesom Housing Independent Living seeks a highly skilled, dependable, and experienced Personal Business Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and provide direct administrative and managerial support to the Director. This individual will manage client services, staff supervision, scheduling, marketing, and general business coordination to ensure smooth and efficient operation of all facilities under Sesom Housing Corporation. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong organizational and leadership abilities. Must be trainable, good listener, and kind. Seeking a unicorn. You must exhibit great attitude, maintain a professional appearance daily, and uphold Sesom Housing’s high standards of care and presentation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule appointments for clients, including medical and personal visits. Arrange and oversee transportation logistics to and from appointments. Train and supervise staff in proper housekeeping, sanitation, and daily operational duties. Conduct weekly home inspections to ensure all homes meet Sesom Housing standarnd expectations for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Develop and maintain policy and procedure manuals for staff compliance and operational consistency. Manage errands and weekly grocery pick-up/delivery to designated Los Angeles locations. Maintain and update client face sheets, records, and assessments for potential placements. Oversee and organize staff schedules, client appointments, and daily activity plans. Conduct marketing outreach to skilled nursing facilities and referral sources to generate new client placements. Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews. Provide crisis management and 24/7 (on call) operational support when needed. Handle budget tracking, petty cash reconciliation, and basic bookkeeping duties. Maintain an organized filing system and ensure all documentation is current and compliant. Perform light cooking, cleaning, and laundry tasks when necessary to support smooth home operation.

Ensure all homes remain safe, clean, and meet regulatory and organizational standards. Represent Sesom Housing in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner at all times. Maintain a positive attitude, professional dress code, and model exemplary conduct for staff and clients alike. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of proven experience in personal business or operations management. Prior experience in senior housing, independent living, or residential care required. College degree in Business Administration, Health Services, or related field preferred. Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite. Physically capable of lifting 40 pounds or more. Must be available 24/7, dependable, and solution-oriented. High ethical standards with a track record of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Ability to cook, clean, and manage household tasks when required. Must have positive energy, wit, and a friendly demeanor while maintaining professionalism.
