Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. RDA's are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical records management and dental terminology
- Familiarity with various dental procedures including Endodontics and Prosthodontics
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software systems
- Understanding of human anatomy relevant to dentistry
- Experience in four-handed dentistry techniques is a plus
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor

Pay: $23.63 - $30.00 per hour (Based on experience and certifications)
