Hello caregiving world I am a person with a physical disability who Uses a wheelchair every day that needs help with my activities of daily living . Right now I’m looking for a honest ,fun, good communicator, good listener who wants to go on international and national adventures (As my caregiver/ assistant). with the main caregiving duties being Saturday through Sunday 7 AM to 2 PM at my house in Pasadena. However I would like this person to be able to travel with me as well.
If you would like to be considered for this position, you need to be able to have the ability to travel internationally and YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR PASSPORT and be able to help me transfer in and out of a car/van/suv and high beds with travel. I have many new opportunities to travel in the next few months I need the help to do so. I would prefer somone MALE over 6ft OR A STRONG TALL WOMAN OF THE SAME HEIGHT. I need your help to be able to help me transfer anywhere because I'm not that strong.[ only in travel not at home]
Main caregiving tasks:
Bowel movement/suppository
Help with flushing my bladder after bathroom.
Helping me wash my hair and get dressed. Helping me brush my hair and style.
Main household task:
Help me maintain the cleanliness of my house as I live by myself and I can’t physically do it myself.
Washing, folding and putting my clothing away
Sweeping mopping dusting. Because I can’t do it myself.
Helping me keep things organized and color coordinated in my house so it’s easier to find things for both of us.
Cooking me breakfast and or lunch
Running errands to get me water, food, groceries, supplies, with a vehicle that I have at my house so you don’t have to spend your gas.
