The Medical Cannabis Caregivers (MCC) trains individuals who are interested in providing patient informational services and cannabis products as a Medical Cannabis Practitioner.
A GROWING NEED FOR MEDICAL CANNABIS PRACTITIONERS
Due to federal restrictions on the information a physician may provide to a patient regarding cannabis, patients are left with little or no information regarding the medicinal use of cannabis.
Many of these patients have no prior experience with the use of cannabis. The majority of state and city licensed cannabis retail facilities focus on adult and recreational use. Very few provide the essential information patients need before using cannabis to treat a medical condition.
ELIGIBILITY FOR TRAINING
Experience as a healthcare provider, or medical cannabis patient, is beneficial but not mandatory to apply for the program.
